Discover the main religious places of Guatemala and El Salvador in a trip that will take you to La Antigua Guatemala across the steps of the Holy Brother Pedro de Betancourt, the Black Christ, the Church of Santiago in Esquipulas, the chapel of the Divine Providence Hospital where Monsignor Romero died, or the Sanctum of Nuestra Señora de las Gracias.

Day 1

Meet at La Aurora International Airport and transfer to your hotel in La Antigua Guatemala. Overnight in La Antigua Guatemala.

Day 2

City tour of La Antigua Guatemala following the steps of the Holy Brother Pedro de Betancourt. Visits to churches, ruins, convents and the relics of Brother Pedro.
Overnight in La Antigua Guatemala.

Day 3

Depart to the colonial city of Esquipulas whose pilgrimage is similar to that of Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico, to venerate the miraculous Black Christ that houses the village’s basilica. Overnight in Esquipulas.

Day 4

This morning you will attend Mass and you can get souvenir blessings at the end of the ceremony. Tour around the city, including the beautiful church of Santiago de los Caballeros. Overnight in Esquipulas.

Day 5

Depart to El Salvador. You will visit beautiful churches with history. Lunch will be in a restaurant overlooking Lake Coatepeque on the way to San Salvador. Overnight in San Salvador.

Day 6

Visit “La Casita de Monseñor Romero” and the Chapel of the Divine Providence Hospital or El Hospitalito, where Monsignor Romero died. During the afternoon, you will also visit his crypt in the Metropolitan Cathedral. Overnight in San Salvador.

Day 7

Visit Our Lady of Graces Sanctuary in the skirts of Quezaltepeque volcano, where you will pray the Rosary and attend Mass in the small, beautiful chapel. Lunch at a restaurant on the heights of the volcano.Overnight in San Salvador.

Day 8

Consecrated as an icon in Cojutepeque town, Cerro Las Pavas is a tourist attraction, but also of Catholic fervor due to its popular sanctuary dedicated to Fatima Virgin. Overnight in San Salvador.

Day 9

Transfer to Monseñor Oscar Arnulfo Romero International Airport.
