Air Europa ha inaugurado una significativa ruta aérea que conecta Santiago de los Caballeros, en la República Dominicana, con Madrid, España. Con dos frecuencias semanales, los jueves y sábados, esta conexión mejora notablemente la accesibilidad del turismo europeo hacia los destinos de la región SICA, abriendo nuevas puertas para el intercambio cultural y económico.

The inaugural flight symbolises not only an air bridge between the two nations but also the airline’s commitment to the tourism and economic development of the Cibao region. In addition, Madrid consolidates its position as a key European hub, facilitating the flow of tourism and commercial and cultural exchanges in the area.

Air Europa is expanding its network of destinations, consolidating its position as a leader in connections between Latin America and Europe. With this new addition, the airline now operates fourteen weekly flights to the Dominican Republic, including the Santo Domingo and Punta Cana routes, reinforcing its presence in the Caribbean.

This direct link between Santiago de los Caballeros and Madrid shortens distances and marks a significant step towards greater integration between the Dominican Republic and Europe. It promises considerable benefits for tourists and the business sector in both regions.
