El Salvador has catapulted itself as a top tourist destination in Central America, showing an impressive 90% growth in international tourist arrivals by 2024, positioning it above other destinations in the region. According to the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), El Salvador now ranks fourth worldwide in post-COVID-19 tourism recovery, surpassed only by destinations such as Qatar, Albania, and Saudi Arabia.
