The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), together with Forward Keys, has pinpointed some Central American countries as the top Latin American destinations that will receive the highest number of international visitors in the first half of 2024, surpassing 2019’s peak levels in the same period. El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Colombia will be the nation’s leading regions in growth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, and Germany will be the leading countries of origin for tourists to these destinations, with average stays of between 4- and 13-nights.
